4 out of 5 stars! This is a great start to what seems to be a compelling series! Tova is a girl who knows who she is but not really what she wants. Also, she is tough and a bad-ass too everyone she doesn't know but as soon as she's around Greg her demeanor completely changes. Basically she's a great character to read about! I can't wait to see where this series will go next!

Tova would be your average country girl moved to the city to own and run a book store with her best friend if it wasn't for a few small but crucial details. Her father was a demon making her a half-demon, or halvesies as they are known, and for her whole life she has been visited by two guides, one her cousin Bartleby who also happens to be a demon and the other a fairie named Fay.

It has been Bartleby and Fays' job to convince Tova to choose a side and the time has come for Tova to make a decision. Either join the side of 'good' and let the fairies help her suppress the demon within or join the 'evil' demons and embrace her dark side, denying her humanity but still getting to keep her demonic powers. With not just her own soul at stake but the future of all humanities, Tova had better make the right decision.

Ecstatic Evil is the first in a new series of serial books that is to have new entries published ever few months. An exciting, sexy, short story that easily fits into your day. Full of demons, fairies, werewolves, magic and a hot, steamy romance, this little tale will leave you wondering just what is in store next for this devilish new heroine.
When I started this novella, I wasn't sure I was going to like it that much because I didn't really care for the main character, Tova. But after a couple of pages, i started to like her attitude and feminist way of thinking. She didn't care what other people thought, especially since she was a half-demon. I liked how there were a wide range of paranormal beings in this story, but I think it should have been said in the beginning which paranormal creatures lived instead of being surprised when more and more creatures popped up. What I really like though was Tova's relationship with Greg. It may have started out really weird, but it was so sweet and when the story ended, I wanted to read more about them. Greg really cared for Tova and even though they hadn't known each other long, they acted like they've been dating for years. They may have been from the paranormal side of life with battles between good vs evil creatures, but they were so sweet to each other and forgot about the bad things in their lives when they were together. The story was good for being a novella, but I think there could have been more to the end. Other than that I really enjoyed the story and the sweet, paranormal romance.
Tova Gallagher has a problem, a huge problem. She's a halvsie, which means she's part human and part supernatural. Tova is being forced to choose a side, human vs supernatural, good vs bad. Her mother has emphatically said she would disown Tova if she went to the evil side, but Tova can't let that influence her. She's determined to make her own decisions.

As part owner of a bookstore, Tova is perfectly happy living a little bit in both worlds. She doesn't want to choose. To make matters even worse, she meets a mysterious, sexy hunk. There's no way she can tell him about her halvsie heritage.

When Tova realizes there's more to Greg than meets the eye, she wonders if there is any future for them or is it all about sex. Should this be a factor in her life-changing decision?

This is a short paranormal romance that sizzles - it practically scorches your fingers as you turn each page. For a short story, it packs a huge punch. Readers will be totally engrossed in Tova's plight and want to see how she gets out of it. It's a quick, captivating read from a brand new author.

Tova and her friend own a bookstore in Boston. One night while on a walk Tova runs into a guy who turns out to be a werewolf. They soon become a couple and have some hot, steamy romance. Decision day is coming soon where Tova will have to make the choice who to side with, the demons or the fairies. Her demon cousin Barley wants her to embrace her demon side and use her powers. While Fae, her fairy friend wants her to forget the demons and live as a human. What will she decide?

I liked reading this, it had a good plot and likeable characters. With demons, fairies, werewolves and magic, it has all the supernatural elements you could ask for. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

I truly enjoyed reading Ecstatic Evil! The characters are interesting and well rounded. The author quickly pulls you into Tova's dilema. The fresh approach to the battle between good and evil was thought provoking and kept me wondering what Tova would choose.
